Livestock Feed Specifics

Millfeed

Millfeed is the byproduct of our flour mill. It is an excellent additive to animal feed rations. It mostly consists of the bran removed from the wheat kernel. Our millfeed is marketed mainly to local feed lots and feed mills. Our millfeed is not pelleted, it is sold in bulk.

Stillage

Concentrated Thin Stillage

Permolex Stillage is a by-product of ethanol production. The stillage originates from the fermentation process that uses wheat starch as its source of raw material. Stillage is high in protein and is used as livestock feed. It is dried down to 10% solids.

Wet Cake/Wet Distillers Grains

Permolex Wet Distiller’s Grain is a by-product of ethanol production. The wet distiller’s grain originates from the fermentation process that uses wheat starch and whole grain as its source for raw material.

Wet Distiller’s Grain offers beef producers an opportunity to potentially decrease their unit cost of production while maintaining similar levels of performance. The nutritional characteristics of wet distiller’s grain (high energy and medium protein levels) allow these feeds to be effectively incorporated into many feed scenarios.
